….because WTF, OMFG, STFU and the like don’t fit my situation, but just F by itself isn’t emphatic enough.
This is how I play:
- Download stuff.
- Add NEW STUFF to game inside a separate, dated folder so that it is easily identifiable as NEW STUFF.
- Start game, forgetting to remove the other 50,000+ pieces of OLD STUFF first.
- Wait 45 minutes or so. Use an F or two.
- Attempt to load lot with current favorite sim, Mr. Chance Encounter.
- Admit that lot is not going to load.
- Forcibly close game. Use some Fs.
- Remove NEW STUFF.
- Start game again.
- Attempt to load lot with current favorite sim, Mr. Chance Encounter.
- Admit that lot is not going to load, even though the game now contains only those things which loaded perfectly well last time the game was willing to be played.
- Forcibly close game. Use quantities of Fs in disdainful tone of voice.
- Commence randomly removing stuff, adding stuff back, restarting game, waiting cynically for lot to not load, closing game, spewing Fs, etc., until game works. CAUTION: This may take days.
