downtime+apology

I have shamefully abandoned this site of recent, and I have not been at all good about responding to questions or emails, or even noticing that I have any waiting for me in the first place.

Obviously, the best way to avoid face my slackitude is to redesign the site because that will distract me with the shiny somehow fix things. Yes.

Game still broken. Bodyshop, however, is not. This is what I did yesterday and the day before:

There are lots of people who make great bodyshop content. I am not one of them. It’s a chore, it’s no fun, and it usually doesn’t look as good as I had hoped (and my hopes are never high in this regard), except for a very few things: cut-and-paste, unnatural hair colors, and color alteration in general. I have made some clothes that I like (note: none of the clothing in this shot is mine), but for the most part there are dozens, if not hundreds, whose work is both better on completion and more fun for them in process. Still, there are some small gaps that I’ve had to fill for myself, and once I get the site redone and start uploading again, I will likely post them unless you (the general “you”) tell me not to.

If for some reason my redesign knocks the site out for any extended period of time, you can still get my files. I post all of my file links at the Garden of Shadows forum in addition to posting them here. There are also a few things posted there that I haven’t gotten around to listing here, yet – a Dia de los Muertos set with new meshes, recolored rusty patio furniture – so you may wish to check those out. I’m nixy there, as well. You don’t need to be registered or make any posts to access the download sections.
